Acupuncture has been around for thousands of years – via clinical trails, we know that it works more powerfully than many medicines; but what about using acupuncture for hair growth and increasing hair growth or even restoring lost hair growth?
There are varying levels of treatments possible – but this would require an Advanced Daoist level acupuncturist to treat such a condition, and they are not very widely available in most of the western world, let alone the UK.
That said – there are lifestyle related methods that you would be told to do, along with the treatments, and these you can already start practicing, they are as follows:
1. Protein diet: to start with, you should improve your diet to a protein diet. This may sound ridicules to some people, but it is one of the most powerful lifestyle change you can make to increase your internal power and healing.
The protein diet consists of eating lean (no fats) meat (ideally beef) along with leafy greens – this means no vegetables unless they are leafy greens like spinach, Kale and so on – and they should be steamed rather than eaten raw – this helps digestive function.
Why would the protein diet help hair growth?
The protein diet helps a lot by resetting the body’s hormone systems. We are often addicted to carb based diets, and for this reason, our hormones are often not balanced. In today’s time, many people have imbalanced hormones, but they don’t even know – and this diet will help restore that, as well as make you look years younger. Just 2 weeks on the diet will rid of all the food addictions you may have, and you will no longer even like foods that are not good for your body – basically, without hormone power, you won’t have the energy required to regrow hair, or thicken hair.
2. Scalp Massage: This is the most under-rated tool we have available with us. People don’t realize that over the years, our scalp gets clogged with deposits and this is partly why hair thins over time as we get older – this is not an aging process that needs to happen and can be controlled. A regular scalp massage of 20-30 minutes a day, will do wonders for your hair – using an oil for hair growth, such as the Immortal’s Oil, will only boost the hair growth as proven in many trails.
3. Exercise: Regular exercise is a must if you want any results. If you think your blood circulation can occur without movement, then forget even trying to grow hair – the human body is not designed to stay still for more than 20 minutes at a time. Combine cardio and weights as well as yoga/qigong type exercises for various days – this will give you a full all around workout that will help you in ways you cannot imagine – if you are very overweight, there is nothing to worry, start with what you can do, and keep building up.
4. Anti-Inflammatory products for hair: The hair loss occurs also partly due to inflammation (caused by sugar/fatty diets, as well as weak hormones) – this can be prevented by the protein diet, exercise and scalp massage to a huge extent – but using an anti-inflammatory product, like the Taoist soap, will help boost the speed of this – but remember to apply very tiny amounts of it on the scalp and use only a couple of times a week.
If you do end up finding an acupuncturist, they can help tonify the right areas in your system, to promote the hair growth – but this varies from one acupuncturist to another – please see our homepage for the top reviewed Acupuncturists that can help you with this.
